Robot Kits for Kids

Hello I'm Jerry Rutherford and I would like to create kits to teach children the basics of electronics and robotics. I was born on June, 12, 1960 so I've been doing electronics for many years. Kids love to learn, and I want to enable them by making kits available that are under $50... to do that I need to purchase the electronic components in bulk... and that takes a significant investment. The $25,000 prize would purchase enough materials to construct several hundred kits.

With your help we can create several hundred kits to start the program locally here in the Austin, Texas area, then perhaps get the program going across the nation. That's my goal, and I hope you help me realize it so that I can educate more kids than I would ever be able to do on my own.
