I was trying to build power boots with an infinity mirror. Based on cosplay foam crafting skills and infinity mirror effect.

I used pekakura Designer and a buzz lightyear armor template to build my project

Supplies

Material list

-A pair of shoes (as the base)

-2 x GEMMA

-2 x push-bottom

-2 x AAA 5V battery holder

-6mm Black foam sheet

-RGB strip

-Acrylic

-double side mirror film

-plastic mirror

-hot glue gun!

Step 1: Choose Your Base

1. I warped a pair of shoes with plastic wrap in case you need that pair of shoes in the future, then measure the length of the shoes. You will need to scale your file a little bit usually.

Step 2: Download and Scaleing

2. The pattern is bought from Herosworkshop " Buzz lightyear space armor suit." They also have a very detailed tutorial about how to use Pepakura to use their package.

Step 3: Foam Shell Building

3. Cut the foam in scale and glued them piece by piece. Because of time constrain I choose a hot glue gun to build my project. You can use other glues to have a more refined look.

Step 4: Circuit and Infinty Mirror

4. For the rocket engine part, I use a plastic cup as the base and build an infinity mirror in the cup to simulate a rocket. Here's Becky's tutorial for building an infinity mirror.
