How is someone meant to have 136 blue rods?

I wish I had this when I got the pieces to make it.

Ahh...should've built this before spending hours sorting the new k'nex I bought before making my ball machine xD

It is actually quicker to sort manually than with this thing :P It's more like a proof-of-concept :)

what happens if i thrown in multiple rods at the same time? will it still be 100% perfectly be sorted?
Reply 9 years ago on Introduction
No idea, havent tried. But then again, try to fit multiple rods in there at the same time.
My guess is that it would work as it has no moving parts.
Reply 8 years ago on Introduction
I think it would unless you have say a white rod on top of a red one. Then they would both come out the same hole.
Reply 8 years ago on Introduction
No, if you look at the different size holes you'll realize that it does actually work. Well, it did at least for me ^^

I'm wondering if it would be faster to just sort them by hand? Instead of sending them down the chute. It's more fun to send them down the chute though. :D
Reply 9 years ago on Introduction
Yeah, it would probable be a lot faster.
This is more a proof-of-concept than anything else ;)
Reply 9 years ago on Introduction
I don't think it was made for speed. :D
Reply 9 years ago on Introduction
Haha, nope.
But it was kinda fun to come up with the whole concept ^.^
