Roly-poly, Toilet Paper Core Crafts

This movie is instruction of crafting Roly-poly using the core of toilet paper roll.

Time required: 20~30min

Difficulty: Elementary school kids (Kindergarten kids can made it with a little help)

Supplies

Material

• Toilet paper core
• Template (Download)

Hand tools:

• Double side tape (Strong type)
• Glue stick
• Scissors

Step 1: Apply Glue to the Core

Apply glue to core side (it is easier than apply to paper side).

Please apply evenly.

Paste template to the core.

Step 2: Cut the Parts

Divide into parts for Abdomen, Back and Legs.

Step 3: Cut Black Triangles and Stick Tape

Cut off the 4 black triangles. (Don't cut gray area yet!).

Stick double-sided tape that match the length to the notch you made in previous step

Step 4: Remove Gray Area

Cut black line then remove gray area.

Step 5: Make a Crease

Fold along the dotted line. (Slight crease is enough)

And wrap the bottom part to the other side.

Step 6: Make Back Parts

Cut along the black line and remove gray area.

Step 7: Assembly

1. Assembly the head. The head parts is different shape from others. Assemble it according to the doted line mark.
2. Assemble the back parts from bottom side. Align it with the black triangle.
3. Repeat the assembly of other back parts.

Step 8: Legs

1. Cut the leg parts and stick the double sided tape on the center.
2. Form the shape as photo.
3. Assembly to the body.

Step 9: Antennae

Fold the antennae along the dotted line.
