Introduction: Rose Perfume
This is a very simple way to create a great smelling perfume out of a 2 red roses and some water.
Step 1: Materials
You will need:
2 Roses
1 cup of water
a SMALL pot.
1 TBS of 70% rubbing alcohol
1 spray bottle
Step 2: Boil the Water Add Make the Perfume
Add the water to the pot and turn the heat on medium on a small burner, then wait till it boils. Once it is at a roaring boil take the petals off the roses and cut each one in half then drop them all into the water let it boil for 5-10 minutes or until the water smells like roses.
Step 3: Almost Done
Once the water smells like roses add 1 TBS of 70% rubbing alcohol this gives it a nice and benign scent that compliments the smell of the roses.
Step 4: Pour It.
Pour it into the spray bottle and give it to your sweet.( make sure to spray a bit on your arm and make sure it smells nice)

was this project really made and it is perfect???? i'd try this but the smell wont last after a day it smells in like a decay rose..

rubbing alchol is just easier to buy forppl not old enougjh and it smells

A) I think you mean the petals, not the leaves. While the leaves contain some oils which can be harvested for various purposes, they don't smell that great. B) If it isn't going to be used right away, freezing will preserve the scent much longer. C) Making an oil based perfume will last longer, though it takes a lot more rose petals per ounce of liquid... Otherwise, great instructable! Nice pics and good spelling/grammar, combined with easy to follow steps.
