This is the perfect gift for a harry potter fan (especially a ravenclaw). It can be used as a prop, or play, but it is rather fragile.

Step 1: Materials

Materials: - Hot glue gun -Two headbands, it works well if one is wavy -Gold spray paint -Large jewel (any colour will do, but it would be convenient to have a dark blue/black one) -Two smaller jewels, silver -Dark blue paint -Glitter -Two very small key rings -Template (in method)

Step 2: Shaping the Diadem

Take your two headbands, wavy one on top, and glue them together at the bottom. Then get your glue gun and make lines from the top headband to the bottom headband, leaving a gap big enough for your jewel in the middle. Leave it to dry.

Step 3: Painting and Putting It Together

Spray paint gold, turning over so that the whole thing is gold. Then click on this template, get the black and white picture at the bottom of the page and print it to the size you would like (this is for the raven a the top of the crown). Hot glue over the raven, leave it to dry, then cut it out. Make indents where the black lines for the beak etc. with a stanley knife. Make sure you don't cut the paper. Spray paint this gold. Get yout jewel, and if it isn't already black or blue, paint it that colour. Connect the two smaller jewels using the key rings.Glue this onto the crown. Glue the raven onto the top of the crown. If you like you can write Wit Beyond Measure is Mans Greatest Treasure.
