Introduction: Rubber Band - Earring Holder
Make a quick and pretty holder for your (stud) earrings. This easy and cheap project makes a perfect Valentines gift or it could even be a nice birthday present.
Step 1: Materials
You will need:
- Rubber bands (can look prettier with colourful rubber bands )
- A (squared) box i.e. box with edges otherwise the bands will not hold
Step 2: Putting the Bands
Stretch the bands and put them around the box with no space between the bands. (pic. 1)
You want to place the bands on one side of the box only so you can put the securing pieces inside. (pic. 2)
Place the bands on top of each other on the backside of the box. This way the box will elevate and the securing pieces will roll down and they will not be placed under the rubber bands making it difficult to reach for them. (pic. 3 & 4)
Step 3: Finish
Put the earring through the rubber bands which will hold it in place and the securing piece in the box. Now you are done!

My wife doesn't wear earrings, but this is so clever I think I will just so I can make this, NICE WORK! ;-)

Oh thank you. You can perhaps make one for rings as well. If you use a more shallow box (lid maybe?) and stretch the rubber bands even more. :)
