What freeza36 was asking about is called head spacing. But you are not putting bullet in it but a blank. So you don't have any back pressure. Also if load a live round in it you will the BATF and you back.

You mean a piece of the bullet? I don't think so, because the casing of the fired bullet seemed really intact when I took it out. There was no difference in appearence with a bullet fired with the HILTI, for example.

Nope! Casing stays alive. Put a potato in the barrel and you have a potato shooter. That will be my next upgrade ;-)

I see. I thought that maybe the small explosive would shatter the casing, but I guess not.
