This instruction manual demonstrates the steps to follow for installing a remote monitoring sensor into an India Mark II water well hand pump.

Step 1:

When reaching to the site open iForm on the iPad and locate the 'CellPump Sensor Install' form. This form needs to be completed to capture details about the activities that took place.

Step 2:

Choose a sensor to install.

Connect the antenna on that sensor.

Remove the paper in the sensor for powering.

Step 5:

Then contact the Dashboard Administrator through whatsApp and provide
him/her the sensor ID to confirm if the sensor you are about to install is reporting. While waiting for the report proceed with the next step of the installation.

Step 6:

Loosen the pump cover bolt using the 18mm spanner.

Step 7:

Remove the pump cover or the lid.

Step 8:

Clean up where to put the sticker in the pump with a wire brush, then put the sticker in (pump ID), and take a photo of it.

Step 9:

Drill the antenna hole to the rear of the pump chain on the side of the pump head using a drill with the included step bit.

Step 10:

Lift up the pump head and put the lid in between the pump head and the pump stand.

Step 11:

Install the antenna by passing it's cable through the antenna hole.

Then take a photo of the reported sensor barcode.

Put TFE paste on that sensor using a sereinge.

Step 14:

Install the reported sensor in the water tank.

Step 15:

Clean and dry where to put the antenna cable and tape it in the tank.

Step 16:

Connect the sensor to the installed antenna by first applying TFE paste to the outside of the threads.

Step 17:

Take a photo of the installed sensor.

Step 18:

Remove the pump cover in between the head pump and the water tank. Make sure you don't hit the antenna cable.

Reinstall the head pump, make sure you don't damage the antenna cable while turning the head pump on both sides.

Step 20:

Reinstalling the cover using the spanner 18.

Pump for a while to remove pieces of the metal in the water.

Step 22:

Clean up the area using the brush and dust pin.

Step 23:

Tell the dashboard monitor when you are done installing the sensor to config using whatApp.
