Intro: SMD Soldering - the Fastest Tutorial

We are going to solder an SMD. In fact, this is really easy. And it is faster than through-hole parts. Trust me.

STEP 1: Solder One Pad

Put solder on one pad.

STEP 2: Solder the SMD

Grab the SMD with some tweezers.

Melt the solder and move the SMD into the molten solder.

STEP 3: Turn the Board

Turn the board so that the not-soldered pad is close to the soldering iron.

STEP 4: Solder Other Pad

Solder this pad.

STEP 5: Done!

Congratulation! With a little bit of practice, you will never want to go back to through-hole parts again. They occupy too much space and soldering them takes much longer...
