Intro: SOAP BUCKET PLANTER

A CREATIVE USE FOR A SOAP BUCKET

STEP 1: Materials

Materials:
1 soap bucket
4 large wooden knobs or balls (buy at crafts store
1 package of jute/twine (any color you want!)
glue (strong bond)

STEP 2: DRILL HOLES

DRILL HOLES IN BOTTOM OF BUCKET FOR PROPER DRAINAGE

STEP 3: UNROLL & WRAP

NOW YOU WANT TO APPLY YOUR GLUE TO THE BUCKET IN THICK LINES.

BEGIN WRAPPING THE JUTE AROUND THE BUCKET ON TOP OF GLUE .

COVER BUCKET UNTIL FULLY COVERED

DONT FORGET TO WRAP THE HANDLE

STEP 4: PREP THE BOTTOM

IT IS BEST TO PREP THE AREAS THAT THE BALLS WILL BE APPLIED TO.

YOU CAN ROUGH UP THE AREAS WITH A METAL NAIL FILE. SO THE GLUE WILL ADHERE BETTER.

STEP 5: BALLS ON THE BOTTOM,

NOW TO ADD THE WOODEN BALLS TO THE BOTTOM OF THE BUCKET.

BEFORE GLUING THE BALLS.PLACE THEM ON THE BOTTOM AND CHECK IF THEY ARE IN THE RIGHT POSITION.(DONT WANT YOUR PLANTER TIPPING OVER)

I USED HOT GLUE BECAUSE IT BONDS FASTER.

STEP 6: WOW! LOOK AT THAT PLANTER.

RE POT YOUR PLANT AND YOU ARE FINISHED. I PUT STONES IN MY PLANTER FOR A MORE NATURAL LOOK. ENJOY
