It is very hard to see the actual wiring and what wires are soldered together. I am a novice and don't understand the diagram. Are there step-by-step pictures?

Very cool idea. Might want to stick to lighter (white, light grey) backpacks / bags. I could see people laying the bag out to charge their phone... hours later, the inside of the bag is a zillion degrees (overheated electronics, melted chocolate bars....).

Sounds very interesting, i'll try it out. As for building it, I was wondering will this degrade my power bank life span?

not atall as we are directly charging the battery
