●SUCCULENTS BALL●
Intro: ●SUCCULENTS BALL●
This is a cute succulent ball, easy and quite fast to make.
STEP 1: WHAT YOU NEED
You need:
-succulents;
-dirt;
-moss;
-iron wire;
-cord;
-tape or really thin iron wire;
-pliers;
-a ball.
STEP 2: FORMING THE SPHERE
With the help of the ball form two half sphere of iron wire . You can use some tape or use some really thin iron wire to keep the iron wire in place.
They don't need to be perfect at all, just to old the shape.
(You may find something already made from some craft or gardening store).
STEP 3: COVER THE SPHERE
Cover each half sphere with the succulents, inserting the roots between the holes.
(If your succulent don't have any roots you may place them with a staple after completing next step, or use some transparent thread).
STEP 4: ADD THE MOSS
Add the moss really packed up inside of the ball and between the succulents.This way you secure them to the iron wire.
Leave an empty space for the dirt in the middle of the ball.
STEP 5: ADD THE DIRT
Add the dirt in the middle of the sphere.
STEP 6: ADD THE CORD
Tie the rope to one side of the sphere.
STEP 7: TIE THE SPHERE TOGETHER
Make another half sphere like the one you just made.
Couple the two half sphere and secure them together with some pieces of iron wire. Secure them in at least 3 points.
STEP 8: DONE
You are done!
Now you can water it and hang it somewhere to look nice.

Very nice! I've been wanting to make one of these, but have not found directions that I liked. Yours are very well thought out and workable. I will be making some soon, and post pics :)

Thanks!
Now I hanged mine from a rope so that they don't touch the wall, so I didn't had to turn them, but otherwise you may have to turn them every wile.
And you can keep them there until they don't grow too much (eventually you may have to plant them in the dirt), but it take long time, because the succulents grow slow when they don't have much space.
