Safe Haven the Colosseum

Introduction: Safe Haven the Colosseum

About: I am trying to change the world, one invention at a time.

Through this contest, I was able to practice working with making a nice and sturdy bird house. It will be great for other animals too, which is why its called the safe haven. Although its not the greatest it shows technique and determination. Every cute is accurately finished and hope its loved by animals.

Step 1: Drawing

This is the drawing for our project. Not the best, however, its was sufficient for our project.

Step 2: Safe Haven : the Start

The first thing I needed to do was set up a plan of action. The plan was to bird a different type of bird house. I scavenged around to see what wood was available, to make a proper and safe bird house. I gathered in total five pieces of wood.

Step 3: The Beggining to the End..

While gathering ideas, we couldn't come up with a different type of bird house. We struggled. After 30 minutes we came up with an idea, a bird coliseum! Something that would allow a bird of any size to enjoy a cozy home, and to be able to perch with no worry.

Step 4: Coming to Be

As you can see we went in a home style approach, after drilling and sanding it finally began to look like a safe heaven.

Step 5: Safe or Not?

We needed a roof to protect the animals. To ensure stability we went around the norm and created a slot like roof, that connected with one of the supports.

Step 6: Its New and Its Cool..

We drilled everything and sanded every edge and came out with this beauty, in a grand total of 4 hours and 49 minutes.

Step 7: Raise the Roof?

Step 8: Support for Roof With a Little Extra Somthing

Step 9: PERCH Litte Bird

Step 10: Completed Sky Haven

Spray painted the bird house all black.
