Making your own sandals can be inexpensive and creative. My team crocheted a sandal that makes it look like a shoe.

Step 1: Materials

  • Needle
  • Yarn
  • Sandals

Step 2: How to Crochet a Sandal

  • Get a needle and make holes that are half an inch apart. Also, take off the strips on the sandal so that you're left with just the sole.

Step 3: How to Crochet a Sandal

  • Then, stick the needle into a hole then grab yarn and put it through the hole. Next, grab a yarn and put it through both loops. Now you just repeat the same process until you go all around the sandal.

Step 4: How to Crochet a Sandal

  • When you’re going to knit the middle top part of the sandal, knit across about five times. Then once you get to one side, loop the yarn once and start knitting to the other side. Then you just repeat.
