This instructable will show you how to make a beaded Santa ornament for your Christmas tree

Step 1: Gather Materials

1. You will need :

a) Beads

  • 27 Red Beads
  • 51 White Beads
  • 13 Beige Beads
  • 3 Light Pink Beads
  • 2 Black Beads

b) String/Plastic Lace (about 1m)

  • You want to make sure you have enough string/plastic lace to finish the project
  • A piece of string/plastic lace that is too long is better then a piece of string/plastic lace that is too short

c) A Pair of Scissors

d) A piece of tape (Optional)

  • The piece of tape is to secure your project to the table so it will not move while you work

Step 2: Make a Loop in the Centre

1. Fold the String/Plastic Lace in half

  • Make sure that the ends are even

2. Turn the string/lace around

3. Holding the centre Tie a knot to make a loop

  • Make sure the loop is big enough to fit on your Christmas tree

Step 3: Make Row #1

1. Put 2 Red Beads on one end of the String/Lace

2. Feed the other end of the String/Lace through the Beads in the opposite direction

3. Holding both ends of the String/Lace pull the Beads to the centre tightly

Step 4: Make Row #2

1. Put 3 Red Beads on one end of the String/Lace

2. Feed the other end of the String/Lace through the Beads in the opposite direction

3. Holding both ends of the String/Lace pull the Beads to the centre tightly

Step 5: Make Row #3

1. Put 4 Red Beads on one end of the String/Lace

2. Feed the other end of the String/Lace through the Beads in the opposite direction

3. Holding both ends of the String/Lace pull the Beads to the centre tightly

Step 6: Make Row #4

1. Put 5 Red Beads on one end of the String/Lace

2. Feed the other end of the String/Lace through the Beads in the opposite direction

3. Holding both ends of the String/Lace pull the Beads to the centre tightly

Step 7: Make Row #5

1. Put 6 Red Beads on one end of the String/Lace

2. Feed the other end of the String/Lace through the Beads in the opposite direction

3. Holding both ends of the String/Lace pull the Beads to the centre tightly

Step 8: Make Row #6

1. Put 7 Red Beads on one end of the String/Lace

2. Feed the other end of the String/Lace through the Beads in the opposite direction

3. Holding both ends of the String/Lace pull the Beads to the centre tightly

Step 9: Make Row #7

1. Put 8 White Beads on one end of the String/Lace

2. Feed the other end of the String/Lace through the Beads in the opposite direction

3. Holding both ends of the String/Lace pull the Beads to the centre tightly

Step 10: Make Row #8

1. Put 8 White Beads on one end of the String/Lace

2. Feed the other end of the String/Lace through the Beads in the opposite direction

3. Holding both ends of the String/Lace pull the Beads to the centre tightly

Step 11: Make Row #9

1. Put 7 Beads on one end of the String/Lace

  • 1 White Bead
  • 5 Beige Beads
  • 1 White Bead

2. Feed the other end of the String/Lace through the Beads in the opposite direction

3. Holding both ends of the String/Lace pull the Beads to the centre tightly

Step 12: Make Row #10

1. Put 7 Beads on one end of the String/Lace

  • 1 White Bead
  • 1 Beige Bead
  • 1 Black Bead
  • 1 Beige Bead
  • 1 Black Bead
  • 1 Beige Bead
  • 1 White Bead

2. Feed the other end of the String/Lace through the Beads in the opposite direction

3. Holding both ends of the String/Lace pull the Beads to the centre tightly

Step 13: Make Row #11

1. Put 7 Beads on one end of the String/Lace

  • 1 White Bead
  • 1 Light Pink Bead
  • 3 Beige Beads
  • 1 Light Pink Bead
  • 1 White Bead

2. Feed the other end of the String/Lace through the Beads in the opposite direction

3. Holding both ends of the String/Lace pull the Beads to the centre tightly

Step 14: Make Row #12

1. Put 7 Beads on one end of the String/Lace

  • 1 White Bead
  • 1 Beige Bead
  • 3 White Beads
  • 1 Beige Bead
  • 1 White Bead

2. Feed the other end of the String/Lace through the Beads in the opposite direction

3. Holding both ends of the String/Lace pull the Beads to the centre tightly

Step 15: Make Row #13

1. Put 7 Beads on one end of the String/Lace

  • 3 White Beads
  • 1 Light Pink Bead
  • 3 White Beads

2. Feed the other end of the String/Lace through the Beads in the opposite direction

3. Holding both ends of the String/Lace pull the Beads to the centre tightly

Step 16: Make Row #14

1. Put 6 White Beads on one end of the String/Lace

2. Feed the other end of the String/Lace through the Beads in the opposite direction

3. Holding both ends of the String/Lace pull the Beads to the centre tightly

Step 17: Make Row #15

1. Put 5 White Beads on one end of the String/Lace

2. Feed the other end of the String/Lace through the Beads in the opposite direction

3. Holding both ends of the String/Lace pull the Beads to the centre tightly

Step 18: Make Row #16

1. Put 4 White Beads on one end of the String/Lace

2. Feed the other end of the String/Lace through the Beads in the opposite direction

3. Holding both ends of the String/Lace pull the Beads to the centre tightly

Step 19: Make Row #17 (Last Row)

1. Put 3 White Beads on one end of the String/Lace

2. Feed the other end of the String/Lace through the Beads in the opposite direction

3. Holding both ends of the String/Lace pull the Beads to the centre tightly

Step 20: Tie a Know and Cut String/Lace

1. Tie a Knot after the last row of beads

2. Tie one more Knot to make sure that it is secure

3. Pull tightly

4. Cut off the extra String/Lace
