Intro: Save Big Money! Buy Online!

You wont believe the money I've seen wasted on poor research, trips to those fancy stores or that pesky impulse buying. Huge discounts are only a few clicks away. Unfortunately those websites are not exactly jumping out at you so lucky for you I've put together a few great websites to help you save BIG when buying online!

STEP 1: Decide on What You Want to Purchase

Decide on what your budget is and what your willing to spend. Consider the great savings you'll receive toward what you wanted to spend as well. Not sure on what to buy? I got you covered. When researching for the best price, always write down the lowest price you found and the website on where you found it and try to beat that price till you can't! Remember to make sure you know the items condition before you purchase. This will effect the price. Consider buying used or refurbished for the real extra savings. Lets move on to the next step.

STEP 2: Lets Start Off With an Instant Discount or Coupon

Even your groceries deserve a discount. These coupon websites offer great discounts on your local or online stores. Weather it be anything from groceries to a laptop, these sites offer coupon or percentage discounts. WOW!! If a website your on gives you the choice to enter in a discount code or something similar than chances are a simple google search can get you those codes as well.

Swoopo? Good>????
Swoopo can get you MAJOR deals. Its a little difficult though because the time left to bid keeps increasing every time a big is place within the last 15 seconds.
Swoopo has been proven as a scam. There are people who work for swoopo with free bids that end up winning the items.
i know this is old but cant help to answer....
websites like swoopo are not scam they are just smart!!!
on beezid for example every time you bid the price goes up for 1 penny and the time resets for 10 seconds. the price goes up for 1 penny but who put the bid pays usually a dollar per bid. lets say an ipad goes for $20 dollars, that is true you only pay $20 (no scam there) plus what ever money you wasted on biding. So if the price goes up by 1 cent every bid $20=2000 BIDS, 1BID=$1 So Ipad value $500 goes for $20 = 2000bids = $1/per bid = $2000 dollars that is $1500 dollars profit, again no scam there just intelligence.
and even they make enormous profits it is a good deal for someone that go it for $20 with only a couple bids hopefully.
I have seen brand new 2010 cars go for $300....woooww cheap right? think again, do the math....
Ah nelson! You checked out my ibles after my reply on your candy bottles i see. Nice man. I've been wanting to make more. I'm going to! YEAH. Ill check yours too. Instructables rocks.
Thanks bro and you also have great instructables, keep posting...
Yeah, I obviously understand that part of it!
But Swoopo in particular was proven that there were people who worked for them that were given free bids to increase the profit. So, say you were the only person on Swoop and bidding on something. If you bid, and they hadn't made "enough" profit, they would use a free bid to make the customers bid again and spend more money.
The website is still up and running. I highly doubt its a scam.

I think I have bought from Deal Extreme before, but am not sure.  If so, they were prompt, no postage charge for the item I got, and the item was a real deal price-wise.
How is it that you do not know if you purchased from them yet they were prompt, no postage charge and "real deal" price wise. wow
Deal extreme is GREAT. The quality of the products are not the best and it does take quite a while to receive your items but for the low price you pay its worth it.
Some things are much less of a savings.....I have seen members of my household buy clothing and shoes on line, because of the savings, pay for shipping, return them because they are the wrong size, the wrong color, the wrong items, and finally a month after the event they originally bought the clothes for, the get (kind of) what they had sent for....but now, no longer want. But they knuckle under and wear it once or twice (and it tears or the color runs in the wash). Some things are just not practice from mail order nor from online.
I'm not quite sure where your going with that statement. Sounds like you ordered from an unreliable, unprofessional source. As far as "not practice" i cant say i agree with you as I can honestly say i have never encountered a "bad" situation when purchasing goods online. Of course you don't have to make every single purchase you ever made in life online. I'm just providing what i think is a great instructable on saving good hard earned money in which not many people might of known about.
