Etched surfaces about to be sugru-ed!

Step 1: Preparation

Sugru can act as appropriate filler material for engraved surface!

Depending on the size of the surface, take out some of sugru and soften it.

Step 2: Fill in the Blank!

Fill the entire surface area with sugru. I flattened the sphere sugru, placed on top of surface area in the previous step.

Step 3: Scrape It Off

The sugru will stay in the etched surface, which is lower than the original surface. As you scrape off the sugru, un-etched surface will appear since it is the highest level of the surface.

Step 4: Colorful Fillers

Color sugru-ed surfaces can now match the theme you desire to accomplish! With sugru, you have multiple choices of color to fill in the etched surface.
