Intro: Scenario Paintball

In this instructable I will be telling you the basics of Scenario Paintball

STEP 1: What Is Scenario Paintball?

Scenario paintball is a type of paintball game that adds a specific theme or story to the paintball game. Themes vary widely, including re-creations of historic battles, popular movie themes, holiday themes and more. The general rule for being a "scenario" is if players or teams are pretending to be something other than paintball players, the game is most likely a scenario.

STEP 2: Marker Choices...

Choices, Choices, Choices...Your best bet would be a Tippmann or BT brand gun. I say that because TIppmann make the most durable guns in the world and BT guns are very realistic as are Tippmanns. An EXTREMELY good gun is the Tippmann X7.

STEP 3: Gear/Apparel

The first thing would will see or might not see is a Ghillie suit or Bushman suit. this suit consist of burlap or jute strung together creating a "Woodsy" type suit. Other Scenario Paintball players might wear a Tactical vest that can carry pods, CO2, etc.. I my self just wear a tactical woodsball pod belt.

STEP 4: Thats All!

I hope this instructable helped you as most scenario players know there is much more that could never fit all these pages so if you need more info Search google or go to a local paintball store and he would be more than glad to help you

I would be more than happy to answer any questions...just post on this instructable

im just going to throw an opinion out here, if you're going for a mil-sim marker than go with something like a RAP4, they use magazines instead of hoppers and the co2 tank is hidden in the stock, they are reliable but do cost a bit more, the tippmann X7 and the A5 with the cyclone feeder also will eat air/nitrogen/CO2, BT's are basically better made tippmanns in fact they are the same thing, same designer that would be Ben tippmann. another good pick would be the GOG G1, or if you're willing to pay through the nose Tiberius arms makes top of the line mil-sim markers but they aint cheap.
you forgot it's not fully relasitic becuase of the hoppers, air tank and the gasline otherthan that it's pritty realistic,i am trying to be constuctive by showing what i know by showing what would make it more like the real deal, this article is good but can be more creative like showing how you can have fun, creativity and art in your paintball gun, bseides that i think this is a great article
Tippmann A-5 with camo on it. with a J&J 114 inche barrel, along with a g-36 stock. might as well give up guys. AND BY THE WAY!!!, TRY TO GET BETTER ON YOUR SKILLZ AND TACTICS BEFORE YOU PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR GUN!!!
Slightly off topic, but is there any particular reason this is in the airsoft heading, instead of paintball?
some sites dont allow full ghillie suits, also some make you wear your team colours clearly in full display (outside the ghillie suit)
dont forget tournament markers CAN be used for scenario - they just dont look or feel as real as milsim markers do.
a Smartparts sp1 is way better than all of those guns for scenario play, and G3 might not look scenario but it will beat a tippman anyday
lol, I think using a ghillie suit is a bit too extreme just for paintball, but then again I could be wrong
you should add some other stuff.

Like hydration, other equipment needed, how to find scenario games around your area.

Also i notice that the introduction of this article sounds really close to the wikipedia article.
... uhhhh wheres the part that tells you diferent types of scenarios or the playing part
Why don't you make that?
nice job telling all the peeps on this website !!!!!!!
Good effort, but there is one thing i dont agree with. BT and tippmans are not always the best markers to have. I rock my SLG in the woods/scenario, and it shoots great. Also IMO the best tippman is the A5 but thats purely preferance. anyway, thats my beef, good instructable, i like the ghillie pic. he looks like chewbacka!
