Intro: Scooter Boarding
One night, my little brother and I were bored: the usual. We started rummaging around in our rooms for stuff to tear apart. Lo and behold, we found a scooter board. I immediately went to the garage to get a pair of snowboard bindings, a hand full of self-tapping screws, some rope, a chunk of 3/4" pvc, and a couple of handlebar grips for a bike... This is what I made.
We went outside the next day with our freshly-made "ski rope", go-cart, and scooter board. Our go-cart goes about 50mph. My little brother was driving petal-to-the-metal down the road with me behind, and the plastic casters surprisingly held up. Let's just say, knee and elbow pads would have been nice to have.
