Introduction: Scoubidou, Circle Knot Key Chain
In is a project we will be making a key chain. I use the scoubidou technique and some old twine.
Supplies
You Will Need
- Twine 2m
- Keys
- Carabiner Clip
Step 1:
First, divide the twine into two even lengths, fold you to parts in half.
Then, thread the keys on and tie a strong knot. I suggest the Surgeon's End Loop an example of how to tie it is in the picture above.
Step 2:
Take the four strands, hold them out straight in four different directions. Then fold one strand over the strand next to it leave a big loop about the size of your finger. Then repeat this till the last strand and loop that through the first loop. Adjust by pulling all cords till it is a tight square.
Step 3:
Repeat Step 2 until almost the end of the twine, remember to keep going in the same direction.
Step 4:
Tie your Carabiner Clip, tire two strands together under the Carabiner Clip. Then, repeat with the other strands. Pull tight.
Step 5:
Cut off your tails and you are done. Enjoy.
