Intro: Scrapping a Lightsaber

I got a lightsaber at a garage sale a while ago, and if ound some neat parts in it. Make sure to discharge the capacitor. I havent touched this thing in a year and it still made a big spark!

I have that exact lightsaber and I used to have lightsaber fights with my brothers and I would often use that one because of how much I love darth maul and I honestly teared up when I saw this one all taken apart like that. I wish mine was in as good condition as the one you took apart

Does it still make sounds? I have been thinking about scavenging one for my next build.

yeah, the circuit is fully functional, you would probably want to put better switches though, these are kind of cruddy.
