Intro: Sea Glass Basket Earrings

Smooth sea glass,polished by the waves, float inside their little wire baskets. Each cluster dangles gently from a sterling silver ear hook.

Tools used:
Ear Wires
Sterling silver wire 
Sea glass 
hexagon finding
round tip pliers
flat tip pliers


I made these for a few friends who have summer birthdays!

i just luuuuv sea glass, but this is the next best thing! im making pendants with this aswell. just gotta wait til the summer...

I have never attempted a project like this one and am curious if you could explain what the attaching to the find means? I'm not a jewelry maker and don't quite follow that part. Is it the original metal cage type thing before u start wrapping the wire around it? Or am I way off? I really like how you've wrapped everything again in string, it gives the illusion that it's being held in string. Very cool looking.
