Introduction: Seared Scallops and Green Apple Salad


6 pcs Scallops (about 100 grams)

20 grams Butter

Salt and Black Pepper to taste

1 sprig Thyme

1 sprig Rosemary

1 clove Garlic (smashed)

2-3 tbsp Olive Oil for frying


1/2 Granny Smith Apple

a handful of Green Leaves Mix

1/2 Lemon

3-5 tbsp Olive Oil

Salt and Black Pepper to taste


1. Combine Lemon Juice, Olive Oil, Salt and Pepper, transfer it to a squeeze bottle and shake it vigorously. Then set it aside.

2. Salt and Pepper the scallops on both sides. Heat up some Olive Oil in a Pan, when it starts smoking, place the scallops in the pan, wait roughly 30 seconds, flip it, add the butter, garlic, and herbs, baste the scallops with the butter, for another 30 seconds, then flip it once more, add lemon juice and set the pan aside

3. Prepare the green salad mix, add batons of Granny Smith Apples and the Vinaigrette, then mix well
