Secret Dresser Stash

Intro: Secret Dresser Stash

Another nearly impossible to notice stash relatively easy to make, and can be done with household items.

STEP 1: Materials

Materials

1. Plastic food container
2. Saw or knife
3. Glue or tape
4. Dresser drawer (preferably the middle or top drawer)

STEP 2: Prepare Stash

Cut away part of one side so you have access to your stash, but it doesn't fall out. You may want to plan out your stash in advance.

STEP 3: Glue Stash in Place

Um... Pretty self explanatory... Glue your stash (not the items to be stashed!) to the back underside of the dresser drawer.

STEP 4: Notes

If you've done this right it should be undetectable without knowing what to look for. To get items out or to put them in, simply reach in and get them or put them in.

P.S. If you get busted, you never even heard of me.

ohhh man! Everyone is going to know where my s*** is now. Who would have thought someone would share the secret stash sight.

My uncle gave me a dresser with one of these out of the factory. It was a wooden drawer in the third drawer built into the dressers frame. It was about big enough to hold 3 dvds.
pretty useless , considering that cops will pull the drawer out of the dresser when looking for your drugs .
This is a great idea. If only I had known about this when I was in high school! Good re-use of the plastic food container.
Thanks, look at it this way, if you have or will have kids (eventually), then you'll know this trick if they ever use it.
Oh yeah, good point. I do have a ten year old... but he doesn't know this trick yet.

If you could find a small lock box the was maybe like a lock drawer you could attach that to the bottom of your drawer as well and be able to lock it in case someone found it.

Kinda like this one.
HEY!   I AM TEN!  I KNOW THIS TRICK AND SINCE THE HOLE IS HUGE IT WOULD BE RELATIVELY EASY TO SEE THAT IT IS A SECRET STASH U BIG KNUCKLEHEADS! (JK ABOUT THE KNUCKLEHEAD THING. I LOVE U GUYS!)

HEY! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE 13 OR OLDER TO USE THIS SITE! HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF CAPSLOCK! TURN IT OFF! SAME FOR ITALICS! AND EXCLAMATION POINTS!

Dude, seriously, it's annoying.
Your eBay listing link is dead.
I think this will be me next little project, I could use one of those combination book safes, although if somebody finds it I might have trouble explaining why I glued a book to the underside of my dresser drawer...
That one might be a bit big, but ya, great idea
You can buy electronic-keypad safes, they would work much better ;P
So do you access it from the drawer below? If so, how do you get your hand in there (because the pictures seem to show that the drawer with the stash glued to it needs to be forward of the one below)?
Ya, just glue it in about the middle of the dresser so that the bottomone doesn't knock it off and reach in the bottom one to access
hahaha nice touch u never even heard of me XD
Ya... I got to cover all my bases...
Ok. I ain't gettin it. - maybe dipped into my own stash too deep - What I don't get: Doesn't the stash box block the drawer below?
this could be a lot easer if you use an altoids tin. all you do is glue it on! it has a lid!
True, but I don't eat altoids, so I didn't have a tin laying around. I just saw the tupperware on my floor and a thought, "That would make a good instructable..."
also, if you did use altiods, you would want to make it stay shut. you can use tape.
