The perfect project for families with messy eaters! Cleaning up remnants of food or trying to remove the stubborn stains from your little ones’ clothes is never fun. So why not try making this bib to save yourself (or your loved one) some time while ensuring that your little one looks stylish at the same time!

Step 1: Materials Needed

Equipment:

Sewing Machine

Materials:

1/2 yard of waterproof/water-resistant fabric like PUL or laminated cotton

1/2 yard of fabric of your desire

2 yards of binding (3/8" wide double-fold bias tape or 1 1/8" wide ribbing)

1 set of snaps or sew-on velcro

Notes: You will find a teflon footer/ walking foot useful when sewing with PUL/laminated cotton. If not, try putting layer of scotch tape on the bottom of your regular footer to prevent the fabric from sticking to your footer.
