Intro: Shadow/remote Control Activated Leds.

Did you ever wanted to create a light activated by coming night or a shadow?
Well.. here's an instructable on it, but there is an extra: you can actinate it by a remote RF
control. It is so powerful, i can light up my hole room!

STEP 1: What You Need

Materials:
*5v relay
*photoresistor
*any all- purpose transistors
*high power leds preferabely 5v
*a working remote control toy-car (not in the picture)

Tools:
*soldering iron
*solder
*flux
*wire cutters

STEP 2: The Circuit

I made the basic circuit.

STEP 3: Disassembling the Car

First of all, disassemble completely the the toy car and remofe all the wires EXEPT
the 2 power wires and the 2 wires going to the motor.

STEP 4: Solder, Solder

I used a piece of perfboard to assemble the circuit.
firs of all, solder all the led's in parallel. Then the potentiometer and everything else.

STEP 5: Finished

To make it work, ajust the potentiometer to the right sensivity.
Make some shadow from the sun and see it lithing.

Hope you liked my first instructable.
See the video of it working.

you need to get neon lights and use the led for head lights on a rc car
could you please draw neater schematic and without the little yellow boxes.
And probably a base protection diode between the potential divider and the transistor. Probably in the 1kohm region. Also a diode between the toy car controller and the cathode of the LED to prevent the current attempting to flow through the LED in the wrong direction. Have a look on the net for Eagle. You can use it to draw neat schematics and to layout PCB's. A clearer schematic would help this instructable
You'll need a diode accros the coil, in reverse to the current. Otherwise the coil can burn the transistor.
