Introduction: Shape Jam

The Shape Jam game is on a board where the shapes are put in a traffic jam and the objective is to get all shapes out of the whole traffic jam by moving the different shapes one by one so they can move out the way. All shapes are stuck together. The shapes can only move one way depending on how they were all scrambled. They can move up and down or left to right.

Supplies

First edit your design on a app called Autodesk Fusion 360. Download the Autodesk Fusion 360 to edit your shapes and save on there. You also need filament to print out the design. To save all edits and designs, it is saved onto usb hardrive. Also Makerbot replicator printer to make the design.

Step 1: Adjusting the Shapes to Fit in Board

First make 2 types of shapes which was the rectangle and the square. Draw a rectangle. Make the width of the rectangle to .450 inches. Draw a rectangle on one side all the way through on both sides for rectangle. Dimension the width to 0.375 For the rectangle extend the length to 0.9 but have the same width of the square. Extrude cut hole to about 0.25 inches deep for multiple squares. . Once the sketch is done save it as an stl file on a usb hard drive. Then plug it into the 3d printer. Square

Step 2: Board Design

First draw a square. Make the platform by adding 10 rows by 10 columns. Each column and rows have about 10 little squares. Edit the width of each bump to 0.45 inches. Height is edited to 0.4 for each bump. Extrude the board's height to 0.20.

Step 3: Changing Sides

Add individual squares onto every side of the board. make 10 small rectangles on every side of the board on the outside. They act as the barriers for every side of the board. The width of each side of the square was 0.25. The square is edited to 0.25 inches. The bumps on the board were the same height and width. We added the rectangles on each corner.

Step 4: Rectangle

Draw square on each corner of the grid. On each corner of the grid edit the height of the rectangle to 0.6. Edit the width of the rectangle to 0.25.

Step 5: Play

Unscramble pieces one by one with grid walls being obstacles. You have to get all pieces out of the grid in the fastest time possible. Each individual gets their own board to work with, and they must have the same configuration in order to ensure fairness in competition. Whoever finishes in the least amount of time wins.
