Sharpie Design Shoes

These awesome shoes are fun, easy to make, and a great way to perk up your old shoes.

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

All you need for this activity are...

1. A range of colors of Sharpie markers (or another permanent marker)

2. A pair of light colored shoes, new or used

Step 2: Untie the Shoelaces (or Unlace Them Completely) and Make Sure They Are Out of the Way.

Step 3: If You Want a Firmer Surface to Draw On, Stuff the Inside of the Shoes With Tissue Paper or Newspaper.

Step 4: Get to Work Coloring! You Can Do All Kinds of Designs; Just Doodle, or Make Up a Theme to Go By, Like the Rainforest or Underwater. If You'd Like, Color the Laces, Too.

Step 5: Voila! You're Done! Now Get Out There and Rock Those New Kicks!
