Shaving Cream Scum

Problem Statement:  After using shaving gels, some residual gel continues to ooze out of the nozzle
Over time it creates an unsightly collection of dried scum
Solution:  Cut a 1.5" x 1.5" x 0.25" piece of sponge and place inside the cap
After each use replace the cap and let the sponge absorb scum while you are away

apparently not many people are that bothered by the scum but it has bothered me for a long time ;-)
