Introduction: Shoe Pocket Garden/ Green Wall
This works great for an herb garden, small vegetables, flowers, and as a handy way to start plants early without taking up a lot of floor space.
Step 1: Shoe Pockets
I've used this cloth hanging shoe pocket organizer.
I attach the organizer to a 24 inch piece of 1x2 wood.
Hang the assembly in a big window over a 24 inch planter pot.
Fill each pocket with potting soil.
Plant seeds.
Step 2: Keep Watered and Watch Them Grow
The clear/ white vinyle shoe organizer might provide more of a greenhouse affect.
I selected the cloth type organizer to allow for drainage.
So far my peas, radishes, and spinach have sprouted and are coming up!
I will add more photos as it fills in.

Thank you for the feedback, much appreciated. I will update with 30 day pictures of how the little crop is growing, so far everything has sprouted and is coming up green- except for the spearmint. I'm not sure what the magic for spearmint is, but I will keep trying!
