Introduction: Shotbat Modification and Reload

About: Hello! I'm Nerfrocketeer, also known as Nefrock', Nerf, or NK. I am an avid fan of Nerf wars, engineering, and animal activism (but no I don't go overboard). Thank you for A MILLION views (woah!) and making me…
This Instructable goes along with my shotbat. The shotbat is a homemade DIY-style spy Nerf gun that looks like a baseball bat, but can shoot seven darts at once through the use of a party popper. The shotbat is extremely easy to modify for more power. Furthermore, making a reloadable barrel can come in handy in the event of a surprise attack. This Instructable is from a while back, (before my Instructables skills got better) so feel free to ask questions.

Step 1: Materials

You will need:

-A shotbat
-A party popper
-Some 1.5 in CPVC pipe
-A hot glue gun
-A mini hacksaw
-Some duct tape
-A pencil
-Seven Nerf darts.

Step 2: DOUBLE SPRING MOD: PART ONE

Take the party popper and the top of the shotbat apart carefully. You will not need the turning mechanism from the extra party popper, but it is a good idea to keep it.

Step 3: DOUBLE SPRING MOD: PART TWO

Take the springs from the shotbat and the party popper and combine them as shown. Next, add them both onto the shotbat. Then, add the rest of the top pieces back onto the shotbat. The shotbat should now be twice as powerful.

Step 4: RELOAD: PART ONE

Take the rest of the other party popper, and add seven nerf darts to the top. Next, lay it alongside the CPVC pipe, and mark its length. Next, cut the CPVC at the mark. Check to make sure that it is the right length.

Step 5: RELOAD: PART TWO

Take the outer shell of the party popper, and apply hot glue all around it. Next, insert it down the CPVC as shown, and add a bit more glue.

Step 6: RELOAD: PART THREE

Load the pipe with seven Nerf darts.

Step 7: RELOAD: PART FOUR

Cover the pipe in duct tape, to make it look better.

Step 8: Done!!!

Congratulations!!! Now you have interchangeable barrels to use on your more powerful shotbat! Have fun! Please note that I am NOT responsible for any accidents, injury, or damage that results from the use of the shotbat. The shotbat is only meant for gentle hitting and shooting in a Nerf war.
