Introduction: Shrinky Dinks Fish Extender Gifts
What is a fish extender? Check out www.disboards.com for an explanation. Basically it's a gift exchange done during your Disney cruise.
Step 1: Find Your Images
Www.spoonful.com/Disney/top-Disney-shrink-charms has everything from necklaces to bracelets and hair clips. There is even keychains and other designs for boys.
Step 2: Make Your Shrink Art
After you print out the designs on printable shrink plastic that you have purchased from a craft store, cut them out.
For anyone who owns a Brother Scan and Cut, I imported the images into my Serif software and had the software put a black outline around the images. Then I had my Scan and Cut cut everything out for me. (Normal blade, pressure 3, one cutting pass)

Step 3: Bake and Seal
After shrinking them in a toaster oven, I put the jewelry in a cardboard box and sprayed them acrylic sealer.
Once dry, I also put Glossy Accents (which you can find at your craft store) on each piece.
This gives the pieces a shiny epoxy finish.

Step 4: Assemble Your Jewelry
I used some memory wire to make quick bracelets. I also used cording for necklaces - the pirate necklaces are great for both girls and boys.
Step 5: Package Everything Up
I used little bags from the dollar store and printed a bag topper with the message "from your Fish Extending friends in cabin 1234"
