Sibelius Ring

I wanted to make a ring about Mr. Sibelius (1865-1957), who is a Finnish composer. At first I just had a vision of the final object, and the rest was just work.

Step 1: Modeling As Usual.

I started the modeling with my 3D Studio Max so, that in the background I put two photos of Mr. Sibelius.

Step 2: Finally I Was Satisfied With My Model.

Step 3: The Ring

When finished my model, I took it to a 3D-printing place, where they made a first proto model.

Then it was casted in to silver (sterling 925, weight 48 grams).

Silversmith made the final fisinging for the ring.
