Silent Cartoon😶

It is very difficult to create a sarcastic picture without using explaining words. Excellent drawing and imaginative concepts are essential qualities of a good cartoonist.

Supplies

The things you need are :

• Pencil
• Eraser
• Pen ( normal writing pen )
• Drawing paper
• Water color.
• Painting brush
• A bowl of water
• Palette

Step 1: MAKE UP THE SKETCH

First, make up the face of the man in the picture😁. It should look like a pot or an egg . Then finish the rest of the drawing as provided in the picture. It must look funny. The raw sketch is provided in a PDF file below. I saw this picture in a book and from then on I thought to sketch it on my copy.🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫

Step 2: Apply the Pen on It 🖋️🖋️

After the rough sketch is completed with pencil carefully apply pen on the picture, less, not much. Then it should look something like the picture given above.

Step 3: Start Coloring It

First do the light colorings, before applying the dark tones. Start with light parts, I have started with the flowers and plants. The light green I have done with soft pastel since I was not able to make it with the mixture of sap green and yellow as my lemon yellow is lost.

The clouds, first start with the purple. I did it with a mixture of crimson lake and Prussian blue. Be careful with the mixture. Apply Prussian blue and purple carefully . You can also add the black clouds with the ivory black color.

Apply light tones of the mixture of blue (all the blues I used is Prussian.) and black with water over the bucket. After It dries apply dark tones of the same mixture. Also some wide white lines as shown in the picture.

the coconut tree which is far away do with very light tones of blue + green.

Step 4:

The umbrella is done with color pencils. Then i stroked it with paint brush dipped in water with some pressure for at least 6 seconds. It will slowly blend.🙃

Step 5: The Complete Picture 🐣

Now your silent cartoon is complete. 😃😃😃😃

Step 6: Some Suggestions 🐧

The rain drops you can also do with whitener. The skin color you can either do with color pencils or light tones of yellow ochre...
