This is a found object metal working craft.

Supplies

Safety goggles, copper sheet or tubing, wire cutter or jewelers saw, bits and bobbles (found objects), 2 inch of any wire, (I used silver, 18 gauge), silver solder (lead free), metal file or Dremel tool A piece of chain or leather for the necklace

Step 1: Make the Template

Put on your safety goggles.
Draw a heart, or use a stencil. Carefully cut out the heart using a pair of metal snips or a Dremel tool blade.

Step 2: Rough It Up

Random scratches, using a metal file, and sand away the sharp edges.. drill a hole to put the necklace (or keychain) through.

Step 3: Wrap Your Wire, Solder And..

Wrap your wire around a few times, add random things you have handy. (I used a brass nut and a metal bead.) Use your pliers to flatten the wire to the copper heart.
Turn it on the back side and solder the pieces of wires. (The solder doesn't have to stick to the copper as long as you can get them to stick together.
