Introduction: Simple Crepes

Make your own crepes! This batter only takes 5 minutes to whip up!

Step 1: Gather Materials

1 cup flour 2 eggs 2 tablespoons of butter 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup milk Splash of vanilla Pinch of salt Pan

Step 2: Make the Batter

Place flour into the bowl and crush any visible lumps. Then add all the wet ingredients EXCEPT for the butter. Start whisking your batter will not look pretty at first.

Step 3: Start Cooking

Right before you heat the batter pour in your melted butter and whisk. Heat your stove at medium low.

Step 4: Form Your Crepes

Place a small pat of butter onto your pan and let it melt. Ladle roughly 1/4 cup of batter on top of the butter. Spread it around the pan using a wooden spatula if needed.

Step 5: Check on Them

You know when they are ready to flip when the surface looks dull. Flip them then wait a minute or so and your crepe is done.

Step 6: Fold Your Crepes

Place all your filling on the crepe. Fold in half then in half again making a triangle shape.
