Intro: Simple IPhone Mount for a Tripod

What you need:
-Scissors
-Knife
-Empty tape roll

STEP 1: Cut Slot

First, cut a slot in the tape roll big enough for your phone, but small enough so the roll pinches each side of the phone.

STEP 2: Cut Hole

Now, cut a hole in the bottom with your knife by twisting the knife in a circle to form a hole. Make sure the mount fits the hole, don't make it to big.

Now...You're done! That's how easy it is. It is also easy to make modifications on it so, fell free to mod your new tripod phone mount!

so, would this mess things up if it touches the screen? I mean, would it constantly be choosing your autofocus/exposure point for you?
I'd have to say "no". The touch screen on the iPhone differs from that of the DS, car panel, etc.. the iPhone screen goes off of conductivity between each part of it. I don't completely understand it myself. but, since the plastic has no conductivity, no. It would not affect the screen's touch input. However, it would get in the way. REALLY bad.
