Introduction: Simple Rogue Gauntlets.

I've always had a tough time with gauntlets, so I was very happy to see these turned out pretty cool.

Step 1: Materials

Umbrella canopy

String

Brass fasteners X4

Step 2: Disassembling the Umbrella

Carefully undo the stitching holding the canopy together. You will need two of the triangles that result.

Step 3: Stringing the Gauntlet

Open the brass fastener and push the string into it as far as you can

Step 4: Applying the Brass Fasteners

Push the brass fastener with the string in it through the middle of the triangle, wherever your wrist will be.

Put another brass fastener through both bottom corners to hold them together as shown.

Step 5: Knotty, Knotty

Make a slip knot in one end of the string, and thread the other end through it. Tighten the slip knot.

The knot should always remain tight.

Step 6: Wearing It

Slip your hand into it, the string should be around your wrist.

Pull the string that is threaded through the slip knot until comfortable.

Not too tight!

Blood flow is a good thing!

Step 7: Is Reversible!

For variety of costume.
