Introduction: Simple Yet Elegant Jewelry Set

These earrings and necklace are the perfect option for a formal night. With just enough elegance yet simple, they are the perfect addition to your outfit.

Supplies

6 Medium size beads of your choice

3 spacer beads

3 head pins

2 fishhook earrings

1 chain

1 medium sized jump ring

Needle nosed pliers

Round nosed pliers

Wire cutter

Box (optional)

Step 1: Establish Your Pattern

The pattern I used was one medium bead, one spacer bead, one medium bead. Slide your beads onto one of the three headpins. Two will be used for the earrings and one for the necklace. I used round beads instead of flat for the necklace just to be a little different.

Step 2: The Wrapped Loop

To create a wrapped loop, make a 45 degree bend in the wire approx. 1/4" from the beads. Next use your round nosed pliers to bring the tail up to make a round curve. Stop bending when the curve looks like the letter "U". Adjust your pliers so that they are pinching the top of the "U". Take the tail and pull it around the open end of the "U" so that it forms an "O". Take the tail and wrap it around the head pin until it touches the beads. Use wire cutters to cut any tails.

Step 3: Repeat Steps 1-2

Repeat the previous steps to make the pieces for the other earring and the necklace charm

Step 4: Make the Earring

Take the fishhook earrings and bend open the bottom. Place the beaded earring pieces into the open hook. Use needle nosed pliers to close.

Step 5: Make the Necklace

Use two pairs of pliers to carefully open the jump ring. Put the chain and the charm onto the jump ring. Close the jump ring.

Step 6: Finished!

You now have a necklace and a pair of earrings to wear. And you can tell everyone that you made them! Put in a box to give to somebody or put them in a box and give them to yourself! Enjoy!
