Does it work as a precision stylus or is just a way to keep the fingers off of the screen?

for this instructable it is just a way to keep fingers off of the screen and to make drawing easier. I may or may not make an intractable on how to make a precision stylus, in the mean time you can modify my design to make it a precision stylus.
