Singing Heart Necklace

Introduction: Singing Heart Necklace

This is an easy and fun project that will have your mind racing with possibilities! A great project for rainy days! I hope you have a good time making it!

  1. Hot glue gun
  2. Card that plays music
  3. Fabric
  4. Durable cardboard
  5. Scissors
  6. Pencil
  7. Necklace chain

Step 1: Cutting the Card

Buy a card that plays music, cut along the edges of the card and make sure not to cut any wires! Now you have your music cartridge. if you would like to keep the card as just a normal card simply glue the edges back together.

Step 2: Fitting the Pieces

I had two speakers because my song played out of both which worked perfectly for a heart. I used a flattened Cheez-It box but any durable cardboard should work. Cut along the already folded places, take one of the pieces cut and fit your cartridge things as close together as possible, then draw and cut the shape you want.

Step 3: Making It Pretty

Tape the cartridges down. MAKE SURE NOT TO TAPE OVER THE PIECE YOU FLICK TO MAKE THE MUSIC SOUND!!!! Once that is done cut out a piece of your choice fabric (probably not see through) and cut it a little bigger than the size of your shape. Rap it around the shape and hot glue the fabric down to the back. then, if your making a heart like me, cut two little lines in each side of the fabric that dips before the two humps. fold that over and hot glue it down. Add a chain and its finished! I hope you enjoyed making this!
