Introduction: Single Serving Banana Pudding Poke Cake
Ever been craving a cake but you’re a poor college student or only need one serving? With our easy, 9 step recipe, you’ll be able to create a delicious Banana Pudding Poke Cake in less than 10 minutes! This recipe makes baking for one easier than ever.
Step 1: Ingredients
• 1/2 cup Betty Crocker Butter Recipe Yellow cake mix
• 1/3 cup water
• 1 tsp cooking oil
• Cooking spray
• 1 package of Jell-O Banana Cream pudding
• 2 cups milk
• Can of whipped cream
• 1 box of Vanilla Wafers
Step 2: Materials
• 3 small bowls
• Plastic spoon
• 1 tsp measuring spoon
• 1/3 cup measuring cup
• 1/2 cup measuring cup
• 1 cup measuring cup
• Eating utensils
• Oven mitt or towel to remove hot bowl from microwave
Pour instant pudding into a bowl.
Add in 2 cups of milk and whisk together.
Whisk until lumps are gone.
Let pudding sit for 2 minutes.
*Serving size: approximately 4 cakes.
Step 5: Step 3
Combine 1/2 cup of cake mix, 1/3 cup of water, and 1 tsp of oil into 2nd small bowl.
Stir until batter is smooth.
Spray 3rd small bowl with cooking spray.
Then pour in cake batter.
Place bowl with cake batter in microwave and cook for 2 1/2 minutes.
Remove bowl from microwave.
*Caution: Bowl will be HOT. Use an oven mitt or towel to remove bowl.
Poke 7-8 holes in the middle of the cake with the end of a plastic spoon.
Using a plastic spoon, cover the cake with pudding until all holes are filled and a thin layer is covering the cake.
*Do not use all of the pudding in the bowl, just enough to cover the top of the cake.
Top with garnishing of whipped cream and Vanilla Wafers.
