Introduction: Sinus Rinse

Breathe through both nostrils all day.  Blockage occurs especially in dry weather.  Remove sinus gunk where tweezers and Q-tips can't reach.  Salt water and a syringe recommended by my physician.   Get a 16 oz container; fill with drinkable water.  Add 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon of table salt.  Stir.   Saltwater made.  Put some into a small bowl and microwave 20 - 30 seconds.  Pull some saltwater into the syringe and tilt head back.  Release gently into a nostril.  I spit out back through nose mostly and a little through the mouth.  Repeat and then move onto other nostril.

I like your hypodermic idea but think I'll do it over a sink & shoot it in faster & fuller, I don't like the idea of anything foreign like that going into my nose with my head tipped back. The hypo size nozzle is much more appealing than having a 'fountain' of water going into my nostril-thank you for your idea. :)

Please be careful and pre-boil the water and let cool. Or use purified water. There have been cases of brain parasites transferred this way. But very good instructable. http://www.cdc.gov/parasites/naegleria/general.html
