Skate Guards From Old Bicycle Inner Tube

These are super simple skate guards made from an old bicycle tube.

Supplies

Old bicycle inner tube
A pair of scissors

Step 1: Cut Off a Piece of Inner Tube

I suggest to cut it a little shorter than the skate blade length.

Step 2: Cut Out an Opening for the Skate Blade

The opening must be a little shorter than the blade.

Step 3: Finished!

The protectors should slip on and off easily.

Not ideal for walking on non-ice surfaces, but great protectors for carrying in a bag or for storage.
