Slim DVD Case Tablet Stand
Intro: Slim DVD Case Tablet Stand
Riding on the coattails of jtisserand's excellent instructable on a tablet stand, I made my own version with a slim DVD case, since I had a bunch of those lying around. Here's what you'll need:
Then, I hot glued the wire inside the case to make it keep the inverted V shape. See pictures.
This is all very straightforward, so I won't bother to go into too much more detail.
I estimate the total cost of this project to be about $1.50 if you had to buy hot glue, wire and a DVD case.
- 1 Slim DVD case (like those found here)
- About 6" of 12 gauge solid insulated wire (like this)
- Hot glue and a the associated gun
- A sharp object to cut thin plastic (I used a box cutter)
Then, I hot glued the wire inside the case to make it keep the inverted V shape. See pictures.
This is all very straightforward, so I won't bother to go into too much more detail.
I estimate the total cost of this project to be about $1.50 if you had to buy hot glue, wire and a DVD case.
