Introduction: Small 20cm X 20cm DIY Cardboard Photo Light Studio for Biginners
This is a beginner fun project for anyone who wants to try out a DIY photo studio. Mine may not be the best but my goal was to bring out the whole concept of how a photo studio looks like and don't forget to try and improve on your own project by making a much bigger or however you like. if you do don't forget to share with us
Supplies
You will be needing the following materials for this project
- Cardboard sheets
- Plain A4 paper which will be squared
- Paper Glue (any paper glue will do, I used wood glue)
- LED lights (for lighting the photo studio)
- Glue gun (for gluing the photo studio together)
- scissors (for cutting)
Now let us build our 20x20 photo studio
Step 1: Square the A4 Paper
Bend one edge of the A4 paper to meet the line and cut out the hanging end so that your A4 paper forms a square of 20cm x 20cm. follow the pictures above to see what I mean.
Step 2: Gluing the Squares
Glue the squared A4 paper onto the cardboard sheet one after the other carefully .try as much as possible not to spill glue all over if not it may dirty the white paper.
Step 3: Cutting
Cut out the glued square A4 paper that we glued to the cardboard. You should have 5 of them as our photo studio has five white walls that are going to be reflecting the light from the LEDs.
Step 4: LED Holes
Cutout 2cm on both sides of 2 walls, these cuts will represent holes for the LED lights to pass through at the top of the photo studio box. you will see what I mean ahead
Step 5: Glue Gun
Use your glue gun to glue the white walls together to form a box which will be our photo studio box. see pictures for better understanding
Step 6: Install LED Lights
Now hope you remember the 2cm holes we cut out at the top? now we will slide the LED lights from one end to the other end to install the LED lights in the upper wall of our photo studio. see pictures for more clarity.
Step 7: Finished
this is what our finished photo studio looks like. I hope you like it and if you have any questions or suggestions you can give me feel free to comment below. thanks for taking the time to read my projects.
