In this project you will make a small house inside your bookshelf, enjoy! :)

Supplies

Construction paper

Tape (clear) or glue

Step 1: Empty Bookshelf

Take everything out of the bookshelf and put your books to the side. If you don't have anything in your bookshelf you are good for now.

Step 2: Add Books to Book Shelf

Add the books back in the bookshelf. If you have enough room to have some books behind and some in front, add the shortest ones in the front and the tallest ones in the back. If you only have enough room for one row of books, but the biggest ones on the ends, then get to the smallest ones in the middle. You can stack books on top of each other if you have enough room.

Step 3: Make Space

Find a cardboard box that you can put into your bookshelf. (Basically like a book but not a huge one) Take out some books to make sure it fits.

Step 4: Take the Box Out and Put Colored Paper on the Sides.

Take the box out of the bookshelf, then put colored paper on the inside of it. Remember, you can make the floor a different color or pattern. You can use the pen/pencil to do that.

Step 5: Decorate

In order to make your mini house look like a house you will need to decorate. You can go for whatever vibe you want, or you can copy what I'm doing. Instructions for what I'm doing: Create a cylinder, then place a piece of paper over it. Glue it to the inside of your box to get your table. Put a flat piece of paper and folded piece of paper to create a chair.

Step 6: More Decorations

If you want to decorate the house yourself keep on decorating, but if you want to do what I'm doing, follow along. Make a pinch pot with clay by making a ball then sticking a finger inside and moving in circles. (This widens the bowl) Make a long stick, then pinch and pull to make leaves. (You can make a long stick to make a cactus instead) Put the plant in the planter and put clay in any spaces in the pinch pot. (Note: the pinch pot is your planter) Put the plant in the corner of your mini house.

Step 7: Add Lights

If you want to add lights to your house, you can mold some clay into the shape of a light by pinching and pulling it. You can also add stuff on top of the table.
