Introduction: Small Mat

I used 7' of 1/8" cotton cord to make this small mat - 3" x 4"

Step 1:

Bring working end (WE) in clockwise circle over standing end.

Step 2:

Continue clockwise over two.

Step 3:

Bring WE to the left over, over, under.

Step 4:

Bring WE over, under, over, under, over. The basic mat is complete.

Step 5: Begin Double the Mat

Bring WE next to the standing end and follow it around the mat.

Step 6:

The WE will not go all around the mat. Start to take slack from both ends.

Step 7:

When the mat is complete, tie a constrictor knot around each end and the neighboring strand of the mat. Trim the ends
