Intro: "Snitch" Necklace - Inspired by the Harry Potter Series

I made this as a present for someone that loves Harry Potter. I have never made jewelry before, so this is a very simple design. Feel free to take this idea and make improvements.

STEP 1: Supplies

There are three basic parts to this necklace: wings, ball, and chain. Unless your wings come with rings, you may need to get some of those as well, to attach the wings to the chain.

STEP 2: Putting It Together

If your wings didn't come with little rings, you'll need to get some to attach the wings to the chain.

Just open the ring and put the wing onto it. If yours are too small like mine were, you'll have to put the chain through the ring before closing it.

When you're done you should have something that somewhat resembles a snitch.

i am a HUGE Harry Potter fan, as readers of the incredible series can tell by my name, Potterwatch. (It was a wizarding radio station for those against the Dark Lord.) =D

where did you buy the wings/chain/rings/ball bead thing? love this!

If you use (or make) and eye pin, you could get the wings to hang 'out' more.
